This is a really wonderful example of poetry video–unusual and ambitious. The VideoPoem category was added to this network under a certain amount of controversy, but I think this shows we did right to include it: a great example of eWriting.

This is a wonderful thing that hovers between oddball and mundane Texas in a seductive way. The town of Love&War is full of people with names of the same zany stripe: Gracey and Tiny Daylittle, Lilac & Lakmei Applewhite and Prime of Darkness–who maybe the trigger for the whole weirdness.
But of course I’m most drawn to the nice, clean graphics and this lovely, quirky map.

This is just amazing: SO much more than a “novel”, it’s a fullscale entertainment with pics that adore old movies, sixties music videos, biography and filmography of the “author”, poems by characters… you can just soak into this thing for weeks, and there’s more coming at you.
Dan Leo is a genius, has created something that stretches even the elastic envelope of “web lit”.

AGENT TO THE STARS by John Scalzi

Snazzy approach, reminiscent of “sophisto artwork in 50’s, 60’s mens’ magazines.
Scalzi wrote this in 2004: has since sold other novels, which he attributes to what he learned doing this one.
